1. About Kent Heating Oil Club

1.1 Kent Heating Oil Club ("KHOC, "we", "us") operates as an independent fuel purchasing and procurement intermediary.

1.2 We do not:

​

• Supply fuel

• Store fuel

• Take ownership of fuel

• Enter into fuel supply contracts with customers

​

1.3 Our role is limited to:

​

• Collecting and receiving fuel requirements 

• Introducing customers to third-party fuel suppliers 

• Requesting and receiving pricing on behalf of customers 

• Facilitating communication between customers and suppliers

​

1.4 All fuel supply contracts are entered into directly between the customer and the selected supplier.

​

2. No Contract Formation with Kent Heating Oil Club

​

2.1 By submitting an enquiry, form, or email request via our website, you acknowledge that:

​

• Kent Heating Oil Club does not become a party to any fuel supply contact

• No order placed through Kent Heating Oil Club creates a contractual obligation on us to supply fuel 

• Any agreement for fuel supply is formed exclusively between you and the relevant third-party supplier

3. How the Service Works 

​

3.1 Our typical process is as follows:

​

• You submit your fuel requirements via email, based on the monthly prices we send out. 

• We pass your details to the chosen supplier.

• The supplier either contacts you directly, or informs us to pass on information to:

-Confirm the estimated delivery date

-Arrange the delivery if there are any issues

-Request any further details required for application purposes

3.2 At times of market uncertainty, this may work slightly differently and pricing will only be possible once suppliers are informed of the volume of fuel required from members.

​

4. Supplier Accounts & Credit Checks 

​

4.1 Please note:

​

• For certain grades of fuel (mainly red diesel and white diesel, however can be subject to change) suppliers may require customers to complete an account application form before supply. 

• Suppliers may carry out credit checks before approving supply terms. 

​

4.2 Kent Heating Oil Club does not control: 

​

• Supplier credit decisions 

• Account approval timelines

• Supplier onboarding requirements 

​

4.3 Any credit or account agreement is strictly between you and the supplier. 

​

5. Sharing Your Information

​

5.1 By contacting us or submitting your details, you agree that we may:

​

• Share your contact details and fuel requirements with selected third-party suppliers

• Transfer your information for the purpose of obtaining quotations

• Facilitate supplier contact with you regarding:

-Pricing

-Account setup 

-Delivery arrangements

5.2 We only share information with suppliers relevant to fulfilling your enquiry.

6. Pricing Information

​

6.1 All pricing provided:

​

• Is supplied by third-party fuel suppliers 

• May vary depending on delivery location, volume, and timing

• Is subject to supplier confirmation at the time of order

6.2 Kent Heating Oil Club does not guarantee:

​

• The lowest available market price 

• Availability of supply 

• Continuity of pricing between quotes and final orders

​

7. Delivery & Supply 

​

7.1 All fuel delivery is arranged and carried out by the supplier. 

​

7.2 Kent Heating Oil Club is not responsible for:

​

• Delivery times or delays

• Product quality or specification

• Delivery issues or access problems

​

7.3 Any delivery-related dispute must be raised directly with the supplier.

8. Privacy Notice

We comply with UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR").

• A supply contract between you and Kent Heating Oil Club
